About Us

Founded in 2020 , Nut and Bolt started as a 1 man private studio. Since then our shop has more than doubled in size and houses 5 Resident artist and multiple guest artist throughout the year

Dedicated to always bettering ourselves, Nut and Bolt travels to multiple conventions during the year and also host Tattoo Seminars with some of the industries leaders! We cant wait to tattoo you and make you part of the family.

Steve Colburn

Steve has been tattooing for over 15 years in the Rochester area. As the owner of Nut and Bolt Steve has a reputaion of pushing out quality work day in and day out. Primarily a Neo-Traditional artist Steve also enjoys Traditional old school and Geometric tattoos.

Rob DPiazza

Rob is in his first full year of tattooing but that does not mean he has not been involved in the industry. For over 8 years Rob has extensively traveled the tattoo curcuit with his clothing brand Ghost and Darkness working closly with some of the biggest names in the industry. While his primary mentor is Steve Colburn, Rob has multiple award winning artist in his corner helping him develop his techniques and knowledge for the craft. Robs preferred style is Traditional Old School.

Ash Erbe

Ash has 5 Years experience tattooing. Ash primarily enjoys black and grey, illustrative and fine line tattooing. She also enjoys painting when she isn't busy tattooing. On her off time she loves to hang out with her 3 Pomeranians and play video games. She has traveled all over the world and originally started her tattoo apprenticeship in Florida before making it back home to Rochester and settling here.
